Key Accountabilities
Local Regulatory Reporting:
  • Preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of each report This will include variance analysis and cross validation of data, where applicable, to ensure accuracy of inputs prior to submission
  • Compliance with internal policies including standards for inventory control and governance of LRR
  • Support the completion of audited financial statements working with LRR colleagues in coordination with KPMG
Control Process
  • Responsible to ensure that report procedures and all end user computing are maintained and updated for any changes required
  • Ensure cross validation of data elements are completed timely and accurately through the completion of related control checklists
  • Support the presentation of financial data for legal entity governance meetings
  • Support LRR head and Country Controller for any ad hoc requests
  • Participate in system implementation / integration project including setting up of the infrastructure for the preparation of regulatory returns (development, specifications, UAT, parallel run)
  • Participate in regional projects related to LRR
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including on/offshore Citi staff, regulators and external auditors


  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent, Chartered Accountant  or CPA preferred
  • Technical/Specialist skills/competencies
  • Strong understanding of Local and Regulatory Reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of internal policy, control and compliance procedures and requirements preferred
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting policies
  • Excellent computer skills including mass data management in excel or database required
  • Business/Industry knowledge/competencies 
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting/finance/banking practices/principals preferred

  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and interact with all levels in the organization
