Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Your new company
You will be working for a globally recognised scientific company, famous for thriving innovation. Due to contract expansion in the Finance Team, this job vacancy has been created to provide the additional support in managing the accounts.
Your new role
You will have exposure to various roles and report directly to the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for managing all areas of sales ledger including preparing and sending sales ledger invoices, credit control and managing purchase ledger invoices and filing. You'll complete bank statement reconciliations, maintain petty cash, monitor stock prices and manage general administrative duties.
This is a temporary to permanent position, candidates with a notice period will also be considered.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in sales & purchase ledger and have wide knowledge of all finance functions. You will need to be able to effectively work with other members of the team. Ideally you will be able to use Great Plains accounting software but it is not essential.
What you'll get in return
You will get further exposure of working within accounts and will be offered a salary up to £21k. Other benefits include 25 days holiday plus a benefits package. You will be working 30 hours per week on 3-4 days per week.
