Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Working together with the team members in the area of management reporting, ad hoc analysis, projects assigned from time to time.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget and accounting.
Participates in the preparation of various management reports and analysis.
Directs the installation and maintenance of accounting records.
Participates in revenue and various fee rates review.
Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
Establishes system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.
Coordinates/preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
Able to prepare financial statements and liaise with the auditors
Participate on new system implementation.
Co-ordinate with the colleagues at GBS team in Hyderabad
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience. With financial industry experience preferred
Knowledge on Investment Management business
Audit experience with big accounting firms preferred
Good communication, presentation and inter-personal skill and team work attitude
Fluent in English and Mandarin
Good IT application knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Awareness of latest technical updates is required,
Good time management to fulfill tight deadline on monthly, quarterly and annually reporting
Able to manage project and/or tasks independently
Able to build a good working relationship with the finance team in each business unit within Asia Pacific and other departments within the company in Greater China region
Independent with supervisory skills required
Good language ability in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin required
Mature manner with good and positive working attitude
Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasking effectively, able to meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated with high sense of responsibility
Works well individually as well as with high spirit of teamwork to work as part of the team
Degree holder in accounting and a qualified accountant
