Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior credit risk / team leader to join a well respected and growing business. You will be joining a challenging but friendly finance team where you will oversee the vetting and monitoring functions of the Credit Risk Team which will have 4-5 team members. This position will suit someone from a senior position who is looking to take a step up in their career and become a team leader.

Our client is a well established market leader with a large client base which extends across Europe. They are renowned for the service they offer to clients and due to continued growth they are now looking for a team leader to join their successful team.

Description

Your duties will include but not limited to -

  • Accountable for Country and team level performance, including efficiency, effectiveness and internal stakeholder relationships
  • Responsible for underwriting all applications, assessing and measuring the risk of extending Credit to all applicants.
  • Country Credit Policy audit reviews - bad debt analysis
  • Assist Credit Managers with delivering new ideas & solutions to improve customer experience and team productivity
  • Monitoring high risk customers and management of exposure position
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with all Credit teams, Sales teams and CM Teams
  • Monitoring Customers spend against their authorised Credit limits

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience as senior analyst or a team leader position - Essential
  • Knowledge of underwriting in European Countries in a B2B environment- Essential
  • Experience of managing key account relationships - Essential
  • A strong influence who can get the best out of people - Essential
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload - Essential
  • Excellent communications skills - Essential
  • Good organisation and problem solving skills - Essential
