Assistant Manager (International Trade Operations) - Competitive Salary - Guildford, UK The Role We are looking for a talented and capable Assistant Manager to join our International Trade Operations team at our operational control hub in Guildford, UK. You will take on responsibility for handling and overseeing the full transaction cycle for appointed customers. The key responsibilities of an Assistant Manager include, but are not limited to: Handling transactions of appointed customers from initial to final stages Communicating with customers on daily basis via phone or e-mail On-boarding and verifying transactions Setting up and checking documentation, including our legal documents and the underlying shipping documents Recording and managing trades through our in-house systems The Company PrimaDollar is based in the UK with offices around the world. The Person The key skills and qualities of an Assistant Manager: Minimum of two years' experience of working in an export/ import role or a logistics role with a good understanding of international trade rules and documentation Knowledge of Incoterms 2010 and shipping processes is essential Excellent communication (spoken and written) and interpersonal skills, able to communicate internationally with clarity on a daily basis Keen attention to detail and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment in a calm and composed manner Must be a team player - we are a small but growing, highly motivated and fun team Spanish or Portuguese speaker would be an advantage but any foreign language is appreciated If you are keen on joining this exciting, forward thinking company and taking the next step in your career, then please click the apply now button to find out more.
