A national Investment Management firm with a strong brand name is looking to expand their Edinburgh team and as such have created a new opportunity for an Assistant Investment Manager to join their busy team. - Exposure to HNW/UHNW UK private clients - Involvement with client meetings - Realistic opportunity to progress within the firm Duties include; - Preparing regular and ad-hoc portfolio reviews covering sector/asset allocation and stock selection - Monitoring clients' investment objectives, portfolio benchmarks and risk profiles - Ensuring all client relationships are properly documented on a timely basis - Seeking new business, and being involved with preparation of presentations and creation of investment proposals - Preparing presentations for client pitches and meetings - Undertaking dealing transactions under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Investment Directors - Preparing and providing clients with information and reports as required This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has recent and relevant experience as a trainee/associate/assistant level Investment Manager who is minimum CISI Level 4 IAD qualified and studying towards PCIAM and chartered status/recently qualified.
