Financial Analyst Temporary (6 months) - immediate start Wrexham Up to £19.48 per hour (depending on skill and ability) The Role Supporting Senior Management in preparing reports for month end close, forecast reviews, business planning reviews, margin variance analysis, profitability analysis, route cause analysis as well as project support. Key Responsibilities Develop forecast template structures, which combine data from different data sources and fulfil requirements of sales, marketing, finance and logistics. Update input files with Actual data and consolidate input to produce forecast reports. Analyse variances to highlight material topics Identify data flaws and jointly develop solutions with responsible IT/ finance individuals. Collaborate with key stakeholders to continuously improve the forecast process. Extract and review actual data. Interface with divisional Controlling and RU finance to resolve data issues. Prepare financials and presentation material for BU IAM leadership review calls. Analyse results to identify major variances to prior year, plan and forecast. Provide ad-hoc analysis for the sales organisation, management and Div. Controlling/Corporate. Prepare analysis for business reviews. Identify and implement standardisation opportunities. Sales planning The Candidate Education to University degree level Proficient using SAP and Microsoft Office - especially Excel The ability to build strong relationships through excellent communication Strong analytical skills and financial acumen are essential Commercial exposure Available to travel 2 days a month in Europe The ability to work alone without supervision Deadline orientated The ability to provide accurate reports The Company The plant in Wrexham is part of a global company who are among the World's largest suppliers and one of the top financial performers in their industry.
