Our branded and award winning high growth international client, an acquisitive market leader in their field is currently looking to recruit a new and commercially minded Finance Manager to be responsible for optimising returns on investment in a multimillion pound contracts and project driven business. In this role you will be responsible for providing commercial and value adding analytical and financial support to the UK Finance Director, Managing Director and senior stakeholder's, whilst defining and facilitating understanding of both performance and underpinning drivers. With responsibility for a small team, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing; accurate and timely management and project accounting including insight and commentary; trading performance and KPI reporting (daily / weekly / monthly); analysis of commercial and operational performance by individual project and job, identifying drivers of both positive and negative results and margin to enable the group to maximise wider opportunities and counter threats; to lead the development of monthly reporting packs; budgeting and re-forecasting of commercial performance targets and top to bottom line profitability (ebitda); Management and analysis of risk and opportunity outside of re-forecasting cycles; You will also be responsible for the continuous improvement of all aspects of business reporting and involved in pro-actively reviewing existing customer and JV channels, product offerings and practices, to propose improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will be a degree educated, hands-on, driven, organised and confident ACMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified, Business Partner / Commercial Finance Manager / Financial Planning & Analysis Manager / Project Accountant with a proven business partnering and projects background.
