Finance Assistant - up to £27,000 This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance/accounts assistant to join this International Design and Engineering firm based in their offices in Southwark Working closely with the Finance Manager, your responsibilities are varied and include: Purchase Ledger functions - entering invoice and payment details onto the Finance system, online payments runs, dealing with queries, raising remittances Sales Ledger process - reviewing billing requests, raising invoices, posting cash receipts, dealing with queries, credit control and cash reconciliations Dealing with expenses Intercompany reconciliations Preparing and processing monthly journals Maintaining fixed asset register Opening and closing projects on the Finance System They are looking for someone with experience of working in an account team, with strong all round financial and numeracy skills. A strong use of Excel and a high attention to detail is essential. AAT qualification is desirable. Their financial system is Agresso and knowledge of this is useful.
