As you would expect, you'll be working closely with the operations team nationally to ensure proper strategies are in place to optimise total revenues with a focus on pricing, mix management and inventory management strategies. For this particular role, you'll need the following background/experience: At least 3 years experience of working in a similar role at a similar level within the hotel industry or similar Able to set strategies and create and implement recommendations for translating strategy into tactics Strong working knowledge of pricing, yield management systems and processes for all brands and segments Strong analytical skills Solid understanding of Sales & Marketing functions You will also need to have excellent communication skills, both numeric and written, be curious, innovative and adept at finding solutions to complex business problems, be customer and client focused, and demonstrate strong commercial acumen.
