On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join the friendly team at the firm's office on the outskirts of Maidenhead. This is an opportunity to join a well-established accountancy practice that is in an exciting phase of expansion. As Part-Qualified Accountant, your key responsibilities will include: The preparation of statutory accounts for a variety of clients Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts VAT returns Preparation of company and personal tax computations and returns Bookkeeping and accounts to trial balance Profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations Assist in statutory audit (full training will be given) To be a serious contender for this role, you will satisfy the following requirements: Part qualified ACA, ACCA or qualified AAT Previous and demonstrable experience in a similar role (2 years ideally) within an accountancy practice is essential Computer experience - Word, Excel and accounts preparation packages Excellent written and verbal communication skills In addition, the successful candidate will be a team player, be positive and self-motivated and be able to effectively solve problems whilst managing time and workload efficiently.
