Management Accountant - £25,000 - Car Parking - Flexi Time - Work from home Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting for a PE backed business based in Halifax. Working alongside the FD you will be given exposure to all aspects of accounts and in this newly created role you will have the opportunity to develop at an accelerated rate. Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts, financial plans, budgets and forecasts. Identify variances and provide appropriate commentary Support the Finance Director in controlling overhead spend to ensure that the financial objectives of the business are achieved. In conjunction with the Finance Director provide analysis of all strategic activities, plans and targets, including potential acquisitions. Monitor the Company's cash flow position including the preparation of a monthly reconciliation for the funders of the business. Ensure credit accounts are actively managed and kept inside agreed limits, working collaboratively and continuously with the Account Managers. Support the reporting process to ensure that all stakeholder reporting requirements are completed accurately and in an efficient manner. Support the Finance Director to ensure that the financial systems of the company are robust, compliant and able to deliver the key information required by management. Support the audit process and ensure that the base data is accurate Maintain cashbook, purchase and sales ledgers on Sage. Adhoc projects as advised by the Management of the business. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, data driven, professional who is looking to give themselves exposure to the commercial side of finance.
