ACCCOUNTS ASSISTANT HEMEL HEMPSTEAD £24,000 - £27,000 PA (DOE) Here at Interaction Recruitment, we are delighted to be working with a highly reputable and successful organisation in Hemel Hempstead, who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Accounts Payable duties; processing of invoices, supplier statement reconciliations, query resolution, PO maintenance, processing of payments etc.
• Accounts Receivable duties; raising of invoices, allocation of cash, sending copy invoices / statements etc.
• Assisting in Month End reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of VAT/EC Sales/CIS Declarations and Reconciliations
• Preparation of Payroll
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Processing of payment runs
• Assisting with the preparation of Year End accounts and Annual Audits
• Ad hoc tasks as required Skills and attributes required:
• Actively studying towards your AAT / ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualification
• A minimum of 3 years recent experience in a similar Accounts Assistant position
• Confident user of MS Excel (to include V-Lookups and Pivot Tables)
