Well known business based in the Manchester City Centre area requires a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a growing team. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and progress within a business that can offer a long term career. Planning, controlling and monitoring workload to ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Coding and processing a high volume of invoices. Raising direct delivery orders. Coding of direct delivery invoices. Matching of stock invoices to purchase orders. Purchase order query resolution. Production of weekly payment runs. Filing of invoices and other documentation. Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining all details Invoice query resolution. Supplier statement reconciliation. Liaise with suppliers via post, e-mail and telephone. The right candidate will have: Minimum of one year Purchase Ledger experience and be looking for a role that will offer progression and development to the right person
