Indirect Tax Supervisor - Witney - 12 Month Maternity Cover - Competitive Salary IN2 Consult have an exciting and unique job opportunity for an Indirect Tax Supervisor to work with a dynamic, fast growing, international market leading business based in Witney on a maternity cover which will initially last for 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and executing all activities required to ensure accurate and timely reports, preparation and submission of VAT returns, Intrastat reports EC Sales lists with the relevant authorities. On top of this it also includes data analysis, preparing correction entries, responding to queries and assisting with Tax Office VAT audits. Responsibilities To plan and manage all operational activities of the Indirect Tax Group To execute the VAT preparation and submission process including running tax register and sales reports, verifying data, checking invoices and making adjustment entries where required in order to submit accurate VAT filings on time To produce the Intrastat and EC Sales list preparation and submission process including running sales reports, analysing sales data, making corrections where necessary and uploading and sumbitting the reports to the relevant authorities Advise the business on matters related to the correct application of VAT rules and regulations and ensuring compliance with department policies and procedures Manage Tax Office audits and queries Planning and managing the onboarding of new entities to the Indirect Tax Group - mapping activites currently performed at the company and planning the transfer activites to the Witney office including executing the actual transfer Requirements for this role Minimum 3 years experience within an Indirect Tax position Qualification in Tax Experience of using ERP systems Good Excel skills Able to keep up with the laws around tax Indirect Tax Supervisor - Witney - 12 Month Maternity Cover - Competitive Salary
