Senior Management Accountant The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute and specialist services to the residents of Hillingdon, and to those living in the surrounding areas of Ealing, Harrow, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, giving a total catchment population of over 350,000 people. Hillingdon Hospital is the only acute hospital in Hillingdon and provides elective and emergency services including a busy Accident & Emergency Department and Maternity Unit. The Trust also provides some diagnostic, elective inpatient surgery and outpatient clinics on our Mount Vernon site. The Trust employs around 3,500 staff with an annual revenue budget of £250 million. The Senior Management Accountant is a key member of the Financial Management team, providing leadership to the management accounting team, as well as working with a clinical division on all aspects of budget management. The postholder will ensure that financial reporting systems and processes are efficient and effective, so that high-quality reports are provided in a timely way. They will also work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to one of our Clinical Divisions, providing advice and supporting managers with management of budgets and the development of services. You must have good management accounting experience, a flexible attitude and the ability to produce high quality work within tight deadlines. Preferably you will also have made progress towards a CCAB qualification. Interview date: W/C 25th November 2019 We welcome applications from overseas.
