Credit Controller Sutton in Ashfield Salary £20-25k DOE The Role Our client is a well-established Manufacturer that is now looking to strengthen its Accounting Functions with the addition of experienced Credit Controllers. The company has gone through recent changes so ideally, you'll be an individual that is resilient of surroundings and want to do the best you can to by going the extra mile. We're seeking a range of people that can add value in different skillsets, however, the foundation of this is a Credit Controller to work in our Credit Control Department. You'll report to the Credit Manager where you'll be responsible for taking a proactive approach to manage and collect debts whilst developing and nurturing relationships with customers/suppliers. It'd be great if you're the type of person that identifies efficiencies and improvements that makes policies and processes better. Ensuring timely payment of debts utilising proactive methods to minimise aged debt Negotiate repayments within agreed limitations Responding to customer enquiries Reconciliation of Accounts, checking, posting and allocation of receipts Preparation of statements Manage the sales ledger Provide reports and analysis of the debt portfolio Update systems with relevant information on collections and queries Account & Order Release/Hold Stakeholder awareness of any accounts held/released with timescales The Candidate For this role you will need to: Excellent communication skills Good IT skills especially Excel Logical approach to tasks High level of numerical and analytical skills Good organisational skills Able to prioritise Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines Work as a part of a team in order to achieve departmental goals Experience: Credit Control: 2 years (Preferred)
