Entrepreneurially owned and led, focused on development, investment and long-term strategic land deals - they have an outstanding realisation record. A substantive national player with four offices, being both liquid and profitable they are also well capitalised with a significant £multi-million asset base across the wider company and its special purpose vehicles. On the back of another excellent year they have decided to recruit a proactive FC to create a platform for further continued growth. The scope is particularly interesting: identifying, selecting and installing new accounting software, managing a very small team, reporting to the FD and MD and producing management information and accounts, cash flow forecasts, VAT returns and statutory accounts. Then when you have a grasp of the business and understand its drivers, you will then get under the figures ... interpret and own them to get involved in the finance-raising piece with the banks, the project-costing and the funds-flow/business forecasts, etc. This is the chance to join a small intimate team, to work with the owners and be part of something special. No sectorial experience is needed but a good brain and a disciplined ethos is.
