REVENUE ACCOUNTANT A market-leading organisation is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join their team. OVERVIEW As a Revenue Accountant, you will ensure there are controls throughout the end to end process across revenue ensuring that all sales and work orders are identified and received into finance for billings and revenue recognition. Alongside this ensuring that revenue recognition is accurate in accordance with IFRS15 and establish procedures and reporting around this. RESPONSIBILITIES As a Revenue Controller your key duties will include: Leading billing assurance activities to ensure controls are in place so billings are complete and accurate Ensuring revenue is accurately recorded in the management accounts and in line with the accounting policy and compliant with IFRS 15 Identifying areas of revenue/billing leakage and taking corrective actions to underlying processes Reviewing new contracts to ensure the revenue impacts are understood and applied correctly within the financials Working with finance business partners and head of commercial finance to ensure month-end results are in line with expectations Developing forecasting models to provide mid to long term outlook on contracted revenue Collating revenue budget, utilising information from commercial finance and feeding into finance partners Establishing KPI's around revenue assurance REQUIREMENTS To be considered for the role of Revenue Accountant, you must: Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with Senior Management Accounting experience Ideally experienced within technology, telco or B2B sectors Have a strong background in revenue accounting and assurance Be hands-on with experience of analysing complex data Some understanding of IFRS15 revenue recognition and the application Be open to travelling to offices across the UK and occasionally to India Netsuite experience advantageous NEXT STEPS To become a Revenue Accountant , apply with your up to date CV.
