Credit Risk Analyst Sutton in Ashfield Salary £23-28k DOE The Role Our client is a well-established Manufacturer that is now looking to strengthen its Accounting Functions with the addition of an experienced Credit Risk Analyst. The company has gone through recent changes so ideally, you'll be an individual that is resilient of surroundings and want to do the best you can to by going the extra mile. We're seeking a range of people that can add value in different skillsets, however, the foundation of this is a Credit Control to work in our Credit Control Department. You'll report to the Credit Manager where you'll be responsible for taking a proactive approach to identify, analyse and escalate risk issues as per Credit Policy; to provide root cause and trend analysis. Set up new customer accounts in line within Company Risk Policy and credit insurance Manage credit reports for new customer acc's or any under review, escalate where required Credit score new ac's or any under review; identify, develop and improve processes Escalate accounts for credit approval outside of authority of Credit Risk Analyst Maintain credit insurance reporting within the parameters of the policy Develop and nurture working relationships with the credit policy brokers and underwriters Ongoing review of limits and terms of all live customer accounts Maintain and update customer accounts using internal software system Undertake training in line with role as and when requested Provide accurate and insightful MI with analysis, commentary and improvement proposals Actively develop and review a reporting portfolio to highlight issues/improvements within the business The Candidate For this role you will need to: Excellent communication skills Good IT skills especially Excel Logical approach to tasks High level of numerical and analytical skills Good organisational skills and able to prioritise Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines Work as a part of a team in order to achieve departmental goals Experience: Credit Control: 3 years (Preferred)
