Head of Finance (fixed-term) Cambridge £50,000 - £60,000 I am working alongside a Charity based in central Cambridge, in order to find them a Global Head of Finance to cover maternity leave. We are looking for an experienced senior finance professional with knowledge of UK Charity Accounting. You will manage a team of five, with responsibility for ensuring the financial accountability of the charity organisation, including the production of reliable and timely consolidated financial reports. Financial Management and reporting: monitor the financial status of the offices and develop the consolidated analyses of the current and future financial status of the international charity Lead the development and implementation of financial and administrative policies, procedures and systems Statutory reporting and audit: prepare the consolidated statutory financial statements. Lead the annual external audit process Monitor developments in UK Charity to ensure that they meet all relevant statutory requirements Implementation of internal controls and practises in overseas offices and ensure that a robust internal control framework is in place Requirements: UK Charity Accounting experience Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Staff management experience Knowledge of IFRS If you are a qualified accountant with a background in charity / non-profit accounting, and available for a fixed-contract, then I would love to hear from you.
