Exciting opportunity to join the Megan's Support Team & Family We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant, who is keen to progress in the accountancy field. This is a very hands on role where you'll be given the opportunity to work and learn a mixture of finance tasks along the way. The ideal candidate will be an all-round Assistant Accountant who is looking to work with and learn from an experienced Finance Director. Desirable experience & qualities: - Our key team behaviours are essential in all candidates: Team Player , Results Driven & Adaptable -Must have previous hospitality experience - Highly organised with exceptional time management skills - Excellent communication skills & approachable - Flexible, calm and confident - Experience in working in the hospitality industry desirable - Excellent IT knowledge and ability to use systems (knowledge of Fourth Hospitality and Xero Accounts package advantageous) - An Accountancy qualification or working towards one - Great knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including Power Point & Excel - Experience in being part of growing restaurant groups & new site openings desirable Assistant Management Accountant responsibilities will include: - Reporting to the Finance Director with responsibility for the transactional processing for a number of the restaurants - Responsible for invoice approval, posting into Xero, making payments and supplier account reconciliations - Bank reconciliation and allocation of payments and receipts - Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts - Assisting with monthly journals, accruals & prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations - Maintain the Fixed assets register - Dealing with guest and supplier payment queries - Preparation of invoices and quarterly rebates - Follow up credit control calls to check payment status In return we will offer you:
