Why this role matters Supports the Cost transformation lead for Wholesale & Ventures (WAV), to deliver and track large, complex business change programmes and projects to reduce costs and improve efficiency within WAV. Aligned to a specific part of the organization the role holder will review current practices, processes and behaviours to enable new opportunities to emerge for cost reduction, cost avoidance or increased revenue delivery. The role holder is expected to deliver significant savings to the WAV business and must drive and challenge the business to ensure all transformation opportunities are identified, agreed and executed. The role holder will need to understand the WAV business and work closely with MDs and other FDs and FCs to exploit every opportunity. What you'll be doing The role holder will provide track Cost transformation initiatives and projects across Enterprise organisation. He/she will support the business unit they are aligned to and work with the MD to transform the business by delivering demanding cost transformation targets within a complex and diverse environment. Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (including MD/director level) Must have an understanding of products and customer sector for BT Wholesale and Ventures Will identify and leverage synergies. Cost base management including continuous focus on reduction and optimisation of increasing the return of every 1 spent Is able to undertake commercial modelling, scenario analysis, validation of assumptions, sensitivity analysis, cost stack financial analysis, TCO analysis, market trend analysis Prepares and delivers presentations to stake holders and end Clients. Briefing and obtaining sign off from individuals in product line, legal, Regulatory, markets and finance as appropriate Assisting formulation of business cases justify spend Runs client meetings and workshops in support of own project modules. Participates in monitoring the delivery quality.
