IBA Accounts Clerk- £25,000-£30,000- London City

Your new company
A large insurance broker who are part of a wider insurance group based in the heart of London. As a leading broker they have offices across the world in Bermuda, Africa and further and cover a vast range of lines of business. They are now recruiting within the IBA function for a junior Accounts Assistant to build their career with them.

Your new role
The new IBA accounts clerk will support the IBA Manager in carrying out the following duties:

Preparation of statements Allocation of cash Handling external queries Making payments Credit Control Reconciliation of externally generated accounts Reconciliation of returned generated accounts Review of debts for funding cases Review of legacy and aged items Monitoring and clearance of non collectable items Journal creation Reconciliation of internal hold accounts Review of non payable transactions Maintenance of department electronic files.
Systems: Open GI, IMR, Xchanging

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience within a similar role and will have a good understanding of the functioning of an insurance broker. You will have previous experience within a credit control or IBA function within an insurance company and will have a good attitude towards team work.
Experience with Open GI or Xchanging would also be highly desirable but not essential.
