Financial Controller

Your new company

My client is a non-departmental public body based in Central London. They are looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Your new role

You will be responsible for monitoring information on the organisations cash position and maintain the global cash-flow forecast and ensure that bank records and maintained and domestic and foreign banks are reconciled. You will maintain accounting records and controls to ensure all treasury activity is accounted for and review policies and procedures relating to currency exposure. In addition, you will ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and filed, and you will oversee periodic financial accounting procedures which will include payment schedule and ensure quality assurance and integrity as well as managing month-end and year-end close process.

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential to be a qualified accountant with experience of implementing changes and have treasury management experience and have managed a finance team. It is essential to have experience of accounts preparation under IFRS.

What you'll get in return

In return you will receive a salary of £65,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package on a 12-month fixed term contract based in Central London.
