What we need in a nutshell We have big plans for our business, and we need a razor-sharp finance analyst who can help us to achieve them. Someone who can assess and plan for strategic investments while maximising commercial return on our operations. What you'll be doing You will be supporting the senior management team, providing financial analysis and insight to enable strategic and operational decisions. This includes:
• Providing regular budget and forecasting management accounting reports as well as tailored reports to assist strategic and operational decision making.
• Proactively analysing company data to highlight trends, opportunities and threats
• Analysing capital expenditure items, ensuring full value is gained and risks have been mitigated and understood.
• Create monthly, weekly and daily metrics for KPIs.
• Recommending and implementing changes to the reporting system in order to best leverage value from the company's data.
• Using your skills to challenge the thinking of senior managers and influence the strategic direction of the company. Skills, experience and qualities you'll need If you can demonstrate the following, we'd love to hear from you:
• Excellent Excel skills and experience of modelling using excel or Power BI.
• Strong analytical mind, a keen problem solver and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement.
