About The Role As our Junior Financial Accountant you`ll support the production of management reports, maintenance of reporting templates and report validation queries in the month end. You`ll be responsible for supporting, KPI tracking and Standard Operating Procedure maintenance. Alongside you`ll assist with project sanction and forecast/ budget system uploads on an ad hoc basis. Key accountabilities of the Junior Financial Accountant will include:
• Supporting the Performance Reporting Financial Accountant in the management of a timely and accurate management report production and distribution.
• Providing support to Performance Reporting Financial Accountant with ensuring project sanction system uploads along with forecast/ budget system uploads are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assisting with problem solving and as appropriate, to support the delivery of change across Finance and the business, embracing new ways of working and owning delivery of key outcomes to drive the improvement of long-term business capability.
• Supporting in documenting the end to end processes and contributing to maintain controls documentation to a high standard.
• Contributing to the development of a highly motivated, innovative and customer-focused finance team
• Supporting Managers in meeting/exceeding all relevant targets and strategic objectives within Finance.
• Providing support to the Performance Reporting team with general administrative and ad hoc tasks when required About You You'll possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• Working knowledge of Business Software and Applications - SAP and Cadency
• Experience of working in a Finance environment
• Experience of reporting financial information
• Basic Excel Modelling skills
• Working towards an accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent)
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Ability to present and communicate information in a clear, confident and professional manner without error.
