About The Role As our Junior Financial Accountant you`ll assist in the maintenance of the General Ledger in accordance with Cadent policies and control framework. You`ll be responsible for the integrity of data flows from interfaced systems, month end and year end close activities. Alongside you`ll assist with tax analysis and support the Senior Tax Manager. Key accountabilities of the Junior Financial Accountant will include:
• Assisting the General Accounting Financial Accountant in the management of a timely monthly close cycle including the efficient and accurate maintenance of feeder system interfaces into the General Ledger
• Supporting the efficient and accurate processing of all general ledger journals.
• Providing support in documenting the end to end processes, performing tax analysis whilst contributing and maintaining controls documentation to a high standard
• Contributing to the development of a highly motivated, innovative and customer-focused finance team
• Supporting Managers in meeting/exceeding all relevant targets and strategic objectives within Finance
• Providing support to the General Accounting team and the Tax Team with general administrative and ad hoc tasks when required About You You'll possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:
• Working knowledge of Business Software and Applications - SAP and Cadency
• Experience of working in a Finance environment
• Experience of financial transaction and close process management
• Experience of reporting financial information
• Experience of analysing of high volume data
• Good level of Excel skills
• Working towards an accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent)
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Ability to present and communicate information in a clear, confident and professional manner without error.
