Key to ensuring finance processes and policies are appropriate and adhered to and a high quality of service and business insight is offered to the rest of Frontier. The Finance Team at Frontier deals with all accounting and financial tasks relevant to an international professional services firm. This includes anything from staff expense claims to preparing summary information and statistics on Frontier's performance for the Board and Exec; preparing the profit and loss accounts, the balance sheet and the accounts to be filed with the Registrar of Companies, to making payments to providers and dealing with payroll for employees, sending invoices to clients and being tasked with credit control.

Responsibilities:
- Ownership of accounting policies including authorship of policies manual and implementation of new accounting standards. - Setting the standards of internal financial control, including establishment of robust controls plus an internal self-assessment process to ensure we're complying with agreed pre-determined minimum standards. - Contributor to Frontier's overall risk processes including identifying areas of weakness and improving controls appropriately. - Monthly balance sheet reviews and spot checks across the business driving improvements in controls and general balance sheet hygiene. - Overall responsibility for ensuring all timesheet data is as accurate and update to date as reasonably possible, plus developing and communicating timesheet policies with the People Team. - Overall management of tax for Frontier, including international compliance (tax returns), transfer pricing (including regular updating of transfer pricing assessment and documents, plus drafting new documents for new offices), VAT compliance. - Compliance with internal and external requirements for annual share and share option issue exercise, including revaluation with HMRC and reporting requirements for new joiners and leavers, plus other key benefits / insurances. - Overall ownership of reporting deadlines (both setting of and adherence to) on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, as relevant. - Final review and authorisation of payment of payroll for all offices. - Regular review of Debtors ledger and cash balances, with overall responsibility for working capital management. - Commercial understanding and providing business insight. - The FC will be responsible for the systems requirements of the Finance Team, ensuring that licences and products are up to date, but also identifying new system requirements and / or amendments required to existing systems in order to make them fit for purpose and / or improve efficiency. - Line management of the Senior Management Accountant, Management Accountant and Financial Consultant, developing a good working relationship, including clear communication and constructive feedback on a regular basis. About you: - Graduate qualified accountant with sound technical accounting skills. - Prior similar Financial Controller experience. - Strong control experience, including tight working capital management. - Leadership and people management experience. - Ability to provide meaningful and insightful commercial financial information. - Hands-on and willing to get involved in the detail. - Intelligence and analytical skills. - Attention to detail with up to date technical skills. - Strong, robust personality who can ensure that internal controls are in place and adhered to throughout the business. - Internationally minded and strong track record in talent development. - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with people at all levels of the organisation. - Fun to work with and open to new ideas / challenge.
