CMA Recruitment Group are working exclusively with an SME business based in the Fareham area to recruit a Financial Controller for an interim role. The Financial Controller will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance function. Key responsibilities will include Preparing monthly Management Accounts and profit & loss forecasts. Preparing annual budgets. Producing annual Statutory Accounts for review by external auditors. Developing month end reporting pack and financial modelling. VAT related tasks including VAT workings and quarterly returns. Reviewing and approving monthly payroll. Weekly and quarterly cash flow forecasting. Responsible for contract accounting matters including determining revenue recognition on contracts, liaison with project managers/operations team to assess costs to complete, review of valuations and WIP. We are looking for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who can demonstrate extensive and recent experience in preparing management accounts and KPI reports, ideally you will have 3-5 years' experience in industry and working knowledge of GAAP.
