We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance and Performance at our brand new Hospital in Birmingham opening in the New Year 2020. You will be part of the Executive Board and will contribute to the overall development and implementation of the relevant Circle facility's strategy by leading the finance & performance agenda. Role & Responsibilities You will lead both financial and performance delivery by creating and delivering efficient pathways, reporting mechanisms, procurement opportunities and key controls. A key performance indicator for the role will be to deliver against forecast and ultimately budget. Support the Executive Board of the relevant Circle Facility in all decision making by providing appropriate and timely financial support, guidance and advice. Evaluate, plan and implement business efficiency re-engineering opportunities and produce commercial evaluations to drive executive decision making. Delivery of all financial, management and performance reporting, including appropriate analysis and interpretation, complying with all applicable deadlines. Responsible for appropriate and effective control, management and timely reporting of cashflow. Develop relationships with relevant CCG's and be a key point of contact with the CCG on financial and other matters in relation to their contract. Responsible for verification and approval of payroll. Person Specification: Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with sufficient PQE to demonstrate competence and capability to deliver the demands of the role.
