This role will play a pivotal part in the provision of the full accounting process for treasury including month and year end treasury deliverables, hedge compliance, FX analysis, technical accounting advice and financial consolidations. You will act as a strong partner between Head Office as well as key stakeholders across the group. Responsibilities will include:- Efficient execution of month end treasury accounting procedures Including preparation of treasury accounting journals each month including fair value movements and hedge accounting calculations Maintenance of treasury hedge accounting documentation Provide relevant treasury information to other business units/ head office departments Allocate cash balances, maintain investment records, and prepare expense and earnings forecasts Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions Manage long-term and short-term investment strategies. Manage and all the company cash flow models Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes. Manage relationships with financial service providers. Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues. Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements. Provide technical and other support for projects as needed You will be a accountant with a treasury focused qualification (ACT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) a strong academic background and a working knowledge of treasury accounting. You will have experience of accounting for treasury transactions, be commercially and financially literate and hold a desire to learn and develop. Attitude and application is all important so those who have a number of the key skills and the desire to self-develop may also be considered.
