Butler Rose is pleased to be working in partnership with a business in North London in their search for a Payroll Officer. This is a temporary contract until March 2020 and you will need to be immediately available to start. As the Payroll Officer you will provide a customer focused payroll and benefits service for the business ensuring advice and processing of the payroll is done accurately and within agreed deadlines. Key

responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of end to end payroll ensuring it is completed within the monthly deadlines Audit monthly payroll data and check accuracy and validity of payroll input such as expenses; advances; absence (including sickness, maternity, etc.); monthly payments Handling queries and resolving issues quickly To investigate queries raised by the HMRC or other 3rd parties Provide advice and guidance to staff and managers on the full range of payroll issues Liaise with Hr team to ensure a smooth service is delivered Adhere to Hr and company rules, policies and processes at all times and keep up to date with legislation and statutory requirements Ensure accurate payments to external agencies are made in the most timely and cost effective way Any other adhoc duties required Key attributes required: Experience of running a computerised payroll for a large, complex organisation including year end processes Solid experience using iTrent payroll system. Strong IT skills with intermediate Excel capability Keep up to date with financial regulations, policies and procedures.
