We are working with a reputable and long-standing firm of chartered accountants and statutory auditors, based in Central London who are looking to recruit and Audit and Accounts Senior. This is a hands-on role, thus the ability to work under own initiative is key. The role is focused on on year end accounts and external audits as well as other ad-hoc assignments for numerous clients. Duties will include: - Preparation of accounts for corporate and /or non-corporate entities, maintaining working paper files to a high and professional standard. - Review working papers and accounts drafted by more junior staff and provide assistance and supervising where necessary. - Audit of accounts for corporate and non-corporate/charitable entities of various sizes from the planning stage through to finalisation for partner/manager review including on site field work. Able to work on audits alone or supervising, reviewing and managing the work of a small team. - Up to date knowledge of the application of accounting and auditing standards. - Preparation of Corporation & Income Tax Computations & CT600 Returns. - You should ideally have all rounded taxation, payroll and statutory knowledge Skills and experience required: - ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent - Working knowledge of IRIS would be an advantage - Ability to communicate and interact with staff and clients on a professional level.
