A new exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the finance team within this highly respected public sector business in Milton Keynes for a fixed term of 12 months. This core position is part of the finance community within the business, working closely with fellow Business Partners to deliver advice and expertise to required departments. This position is critical to help aid process improvements through the duration of 2020. As Finance Business Partner, you will be co-located within your selected business units, supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver to required strategies. You will be expected to regularly engage and work closely with colleagues from the selected business units to allow you to evaluate and provide continuous improvement and best practice. Additional responsibilities in this position will include: Building and nurturing key relationships with stakeholders and budget holders Data Interpretation and analysis to effectively forecast and report Manage the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning Develop and maintain management information Provide advice and training through preparation of formal courses You will have had experience in stakeholder management, network building and where possible, team development and mentoring. You will be a champion for driving continuous improvement through effective planning and you will have had experience of this in previous positions. The Candidate The ideal individual must be an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant, who is a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will be adept at IT packages and systems and you will be a confident user in Excel - ideally to advanced level. You will be an excellent negotiator and you will be able to provide conflict resolution and well-informed solutions to achieve required outputs.
