The Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Tax Manager to join our Finance Team. The role holder will have overall responsibility of managing the corporate tax process, including guiding the company's Leadership Team, whilst advising and liaising on appropriate direct and indirect tax exposure fulfilment. They will ensure compliance to UK tax regulations and reporting standards to ensure tax liability risk mitigation. The role holder will proactively lead on all tax matters that affect the company and ensure best practice and timeliness is implemented across all tax related issues. The role will be the company tax representative for both Trade Bodies and Government on industry related issues. About You Our ideal candidate should be educated to Degree Level, or equivalent, and must have a professional tax qualification. The candidate must have extensive, demonstrable tax knowledge, and be highly conversant with all HMRC VAT, Excise and Customs Laws and Rules and direct taxation processes. The role requires a strong and confident communicator, who is able to educate, inform and influence key stakeholders within the business. There is line manager responsibility for another team member, so management experience is preferred
