Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a Magic Circle firm in their search for a Senior Finance Manager to work with the partners and the COO to enhance and develop the practice group's profitability, by making as informed and intelligent financial decisions as possible. The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the monitoring and management of the financial performance of the Global Corporate Practice, alongside the Global Corporate Managing Partners and COO, including review and analysis of the financial performance of the practice across all offices and making recommendations for improvement. You will manage the annual budget for the London Corporate Practice and prepare the London Corporate investment plan for review with the London Corporate Managing Partner and COO. The Senior Finance Manager will lead on working capital management for the London Corporate Practice in conjunction with the Working Capital Controller team and work with the Global Finance department to improve billing efficiency and debtor lock up in all Corporate practices globally. This role will also involve Ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support business decisions, such as client pricing/proposals. Working with partners to help in the pricing of specific proposals. Applicants should be Qualified Accountants with at least 2 years PQE working within the legal or professional sector. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to influence key business strategies and initiatives and be able to take a strategic view of the business and impact on Finance to improve and deliver a proactive service. Strong commercial awareness is key with experience in understanding complex and diverse business requirements. You must be service oriented with experience of stakeholder management & the potential to establish a polished reputation in the business quickly.
