As a result of continued growth and planned future expansion, we are now seeking to hire x 2 Credit Risk Analysts. You will work with the management team, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, to continue the development of existing processes and create new financial and consumer models to drive strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:
Analysing and maintaining the credit risk rules used in the loan decision processes. This ranges from: Owning the lending decisions for new and returning customers Monitoring business performance and adjusting cut-offs to ensure bad debt remains under control Exploring new technologies to lift current risk performance to a new level Develop innovative and effective ways to assign credit lines to customers based on their risk and lending history Optimising risk strategy from ID validation, bank and card checks, customer affordability, and manual referrals Ensure collections strategies are tracked and effective The ideal candidate should have the following skill sets: Determined, self-motivated, organised and highly analytical Have a high level of attention to detail ensuring analysis is validated and triangulated with reliable sources Knowledge of risk assessment and risk monitoring will be advantageous Experience of data analytics, in a credit risk related role would be beneficial Strong skills in Advanced Excel and other statistical analysis and modelling tools Implement and monitor actions based on analytical driven conclusions Strong written communications skills with an ability to present work to non-technical audiences Frame and conduct complex analyses and experiments using large complex (not always well-structured, highly variable) data sets Source, scrub, and join varied data sets from public, commercial, and proprietary sources Draw conclusions and effectively communicate findings with both technical and non-technical team members Basic Qualifications: Degree educated 2 years experience with relational databases and SQL 2 years experience working with large data sets Knnowledge of Python would be beneficial
