The company: Our Client is global communications company, they are now looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join the team for a 9 month contract. This broad and progressive position will not only be responsible for supporting the UK functions but the group as a whole. Assisting the group FD, the successful candidate will oversee the day to day activities of the UK finance team and continually add commercial and strategic value across the business. The job: Ownership of P&Ls for multiple UK and European entities, ensuring accuracy of reporting and meaningful variance analysis and commentary Working on new system implementation MACONOMY Management and development of the finance team Balance sheet reconciliations Manage month end processes Preparation of monthly management reporting adhering to month end deadlines Month-end close processes providing appropriate level review, analyses and reconciliation Communication of financial performance to division leads Managing relationships with internal stakeholders Cashflow forecasting Revenue reporting and recognition Tax and VAT reporting.
