My client is a market leading business operating in a unique and highly interesting sector. They are seeking to add an experienced individual to their small finance function which is renowned for longevity of service. Given the size of the team the role is naturally varied and encompasses a wide range of activities. Areas of responsibility will include: preparation of the monthly management accounting pack; posting of journals, accruals and prepayments; cashflows and balance sheet reconciliations; margin and analysis reporting; VAT and Intrastat reporting; maintenance of ledgers and credit control. The company operates across a number of EMEA regions and as such it is a multi-currency environment with suppliers and customers in a variety of locations. They have a strong presence in French speaking regions so a fluency in the language would be an advantage. Prior exposure to inventory or stock accounting is also an advantage. Ideally you will be progressing well through your professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA) and have a stable and progressive career path to date. Excellent communication and IT skills are a pre-requisite
