Calling all Transactional Assistant Seeking work in Worcestershire. Are you autonomous, analytic and articulate? Do you have excellent communication skills and are experienced in recording income, also customer service and satisfaction. Worcestershire County Council are looking for an experienced Transactional Assistant to work in central Worcestershire.

WR5 2LU Rate: £10.20 LTD Role: Transactional Assistant Job Description: Management responsibilities & development: To ensure the delivery of an effective, high performance, customer focussed Directorate financial service that is continuously improving. To deputise as appropriate for relevant senior officers To support Senior Finance Managers, Finance Managers and Heads of finance in the development of a 'One Finance' service ensuring consistency of approach across the council To input into the annual Finance Service Delivery Plan. Individual responsibilities & development to team: To maintain an effective and relevant working knowledge of financial and service specific legislation To maintain a current knowledge of developments in professional and accountancy practice including a programme of self-development to ensure skills, knowledge and understanding are maintained and enhanced. To ensure a personal responsibility for Continuous Professional Development To take an active role in the objectives of the wider financial management service ('One Finance' Service) To develop and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally Maintaining relevant working knowledge of relevant legislation Personal responsibility to manage priorities for workloads and conflicting deadlines Applicants should be confident in their own abilities and keen learners in order to fulfil the role to the best of your ability.
