Following recent investment this highly successful business is embarking on an exciting period of expansion that should see revenues double to £40-50m turnover in the next two years. Due to these ambitious plans the CFO is looking to add some strength to the finance team and is seeking to recruit an energetic and technically strong Financial Accountant to be responsible for statutory financial reporting, month end processes and cash flow management and forecasting. This exceptional new role would be an ideal opportunity for a recently ACA or ACCA qualified accountant looking to move out of practice or someone currently in a similar role in industry seeking a more dynamic and commercial environment. Duties will include: Producing interim and annual financial accounts for the business Analysis of subsidiary group companies in Europe Cashflow management and forecasting Monthly analysis and reporting on financial performance Monitoring all transactions and controlling working capital Manage treasury / FX exposure on overseas transactions Manage external relationships with audit, tax and banking contacts Working closely with directors preparing strategic reports and contributing to the investor presentation pack Supervising payroll submissions, VAT and HMRC returns As this is a new position there will be plenty of project work to get involved with which could include providing financial models and forecasts on investment / acquisition opportunities or further fund-raising activities.
