Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Billing Analyst to join a well-established, growing business based within the West Leeds area. This is an excellent time to join a large, well respected, thriving business that aims to promote from within where possible. You will join a friendly, long standing finance team that reward and recognise their team members. This is a new role that has been created due to business growth, reporting directly into the Group Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have an all rounded finance background, will be comfortable dealing with high volumes of transactions and will be able to work towards strict targets and deadlines. An understanding of the billing process would be an advantage however this is not essential. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for ensuring that customer invoices are correctly processed and allocated in order to allow for collection and payment of monies. The role will involve interaction with key stakeholders across the business and there will be a large emphasis upon analysis and project work. The main duties of the role will include :- -Creating credits and re-bills to ensure accurate billing on a daily basis. -Amending pricing and billing details. -Dealing with all queries, complaints and account amendments. -Communicating with internal and external customers to gather and update information. -Analysing billings to identify trends and investigating as necessary. -Managing electronic billing. -Sending billed data consumption reports, copy invoices and billing performance reports to customers as required. -Working on specific projects to maximise business margin and profitability via billing analysis. -Completing billing audits and monitoring late supplier invoices and looking for any trends. -Assisting Account Managers with customer reviews and meetings where necessary. The ideal candidate will:- -Have experience of an all rounded accounts based role and will be able to deal with high volumes of transactions. -Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team as this role is a standalone position. -Be able to provide excellent customer service towards customers and suppliers at all times. -Have excellent IT skills particularly in Excel and database management. -Have strong analytical skills and will be able to identify areas of improvement and errors. -Have excellent communication skills. -Have good attention to detail and will be able to work towards tight deadlines.
