A great opportunity has arisen for a General Ledger Accountant to join a company based in Theale on a permanent basis. This role reports to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for providing first class general ledger management and control across the regions finance function supporting the monthly close process. The salary for this position is £39k.

Responsibilities:
Responsibility for G/L accounting and Balance Sheet reconciliations across a range of entities in EMEA Assistance with our monthly/quarterly and annual close(s) to tight deadlines and assistance with reporting same to US parent Assisting with local audit requirements including statutory accounts and tax filings Providing commercially astute financial advice and high quality commercial analysis to aid and support decision making Multiple ad-hoc projects as required in a fast paced acquisitive environment Commissions accounting Royalty accounting Accounts Receivable reporting Balance Sheet reconciliations Preparation and submission of UK VAT return Statutory accounting assistance Australian payroll/tax assistance SEC schedules/Lease Schedules RFP requests Adhoc Projects To be considered: Strong Excel User Skills PQ/QBE Demonstrable success in a similar role, with operating experience within the finance functions of a European technology company US GAAP experience in a software/technology environment is highly desirable Strong understanding of financial controls and financial systems Shared Service Centre experience Previous exposure to a fast paced, acquisitive environment would be useful By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
