The role is based in our EMEA head office in Cambridge. As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for project-related reconciliations including revenue recognition, forecasts, invoicing oversight, and variance analysis with respect to profitability on a portfolio of projects and will be allocated to support a specific Associate Director or Director within the Project Management group.Project Specific Tasks:Review and Support to Teams Resource ForecastingMonthly Revenue RecognitionFiscal Management and Awareness of Contracts Within PortfolioUnit Grid Data Review with Project Managers and Non-Financial Leads.Month End ReportingMonthly Reconciliations, tracker and dashboard inputMonthly Reporting/MeetingsInvoicing OversightContracts Modification Financial and Scope ReviewQualifications Education and QualificationsAbility to manage the finances of a large number of projects and respond quickly to requests for project financial information or support.Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workloadAttention to detailAbility to work with minimal supervision and use initiative as appropriateAbility to communicate clearly and concisely (written and oral communication) with both financial and non-financial people.Proven ability to be flexible in a fast moving and challenging environmentMS Office skills particularly MS ExcelIdeally (but not essential) will have a good understanding/knowledge of clinical trials that enables them to contribute to project discussions concerning profitability and performanceDemonstrates commercial awareness and acumen.Relevant experience of project analysis or similar position requiring project accounting skillsWhy choose PPD for your next career move?
