Finance Analyst | PLC Business | Burton-on-Trent | £20,000 - £24,000 I am currently working on a position offering the opportunity to work with a growing and successful, Global PLC business based in Burton-on-Trent. This Finance Analyst job is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified accountant to take the next step in their career. You will be responsible for delivering day to day financial insight and analytics to finance business partners to support the management of reporting, driving performance and value to the business. What is the job? Management reporting Budgeting and Forecasting Support decision making by producing ad-hoc reports, analysis and creating scenario modelling Working with key stakeholders and building relationships to deliver high quality outputs and supporting improvements including to underlying processes and systems Analysing, modelling and visualising large industry data sets to assimilate information and produce trends and forecasts. Preparing reports and presentations to communicate performance insight and market recommendations. Addressing ad-hoc requests and inquiries for performance data by interpreting industry data and forecasts , researching data sources and providing economic insight to support forecast. Performing activities including month end reporting , external announcements and verification, ad-hoc Global Analysis and exec reporting . Producing standard and ad hoc reports, incl. variance analysis and relevant, insightful and accurate commentary What are you like? You will ideally be studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Strong analytical, scenario analysis and modelling skills Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills Proficient user of common analytical tools including Excel, Powerpoint Critical thinking skills and the ability to connect and explain linkage between drivers and outputs Ability to prioritise and to operate effectively in a fast moving, global environment with tight deadlines If you want to join an industry leading business with potential to grow into a bigger role then give Tom a call/email today, lets start the conversation and tell you more about this great job.
