Assistant Accountant - Northwood £24,000 - £29,000 per annum plus Bonus plus Benefits Our client is a rapidly growing business looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team. They are looking for a skilled AR Clerk to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. You will ensure the financial information relating to revenue are recorded and reported accurately and on time. You will maintain robust control for income audit and cashiering processes. Key Duties - Processing various AR transactions in compliance with financial policies and procedures - Maintenance of accurate daily revenue reporting - Ensure control accounts/bank account are reconciled - Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording AR Data - Follow month end procedures accurately and by the given deadline - Reconciliation of control accounts - Verify discrepancies and resolve with internal and external stakeholders - Run credit checks for credit applications received - Assist with year end audits - Identify opportunities for continuous improvements The successful candidate will have experience doing a similar role and have excellent Excel skills.
