About the Role: The Finance Manager is responsible for the accounting and reporting of the trade investment spends across all routes to market in GB, Ire and International. Supporting Period-end activities and financial reporting Owning the day to day relationship and delivery of numbers to Commercial Finance Supporting any IT upgrade projects as necessary during the year Responsibility for the PBI process across GB, Ireland and International Ad hoc requests to support the Commercial Accounting Manager Management and development of 2 part qualified members of staff Key

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of robust and timely period end accounts for all investment lines across GB, Ire, and International in line with the group timetable reporting to the CAM. Responsibility for period end reconciliations for investment and PBI balance sheet accounts with fully supported and adequate documentation Responsibility for the preparation of the Commercial scorecard on trade investment, adjustments and shortpay. Responsibility for overseeing the Pepsi invoices and correct accounting of the rebates Responsibility for the annual external PPL audit Ownership for the Customer Claims register and the overseeing of the audit claim process in conjunction with Customer Management Team Supporting any IT upgrades during the year - managing the testing process Management and development of 2 part-qualified staff Business Partnering Day to day relationship with Commercial Finance Managers Delivery of training to drive process compliance and best practise to the commercial functions Provide appropriate financial support and guidance as required to CDMs/SOPS team Support FSS SOPS team with the shortpay process to ensure good debt management Work with Transactional Finance to improve working capital where it relates to the investment areas. Development of a relationship with customer management across Ireland and International to help embed new ways of working and process improvements to ensure consistency across all areas Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: CIMA Qualified Advanced Excel skills Good communicator - able to clearly articulate finance concepts to non-finance colleagues Systems: MS Office, SAP BW, Siebel, SAP R3 Proactive rather than reactive with a personable communication style Background in FMCG preferable - retailer or manufacturer
