Sellick partnership is recruiting a truly Commercial Finance Analyst for an instantly recognisable multi-site retailer based in Warrington. This is a great commercial and value adding role where you are able to immerse yourself within the company and gain great exposure at a key time in their strategic plan. The role reports directly to the Head of Commercial Finance but also works closely with the Head of FP&A and divisional stakeholders in providing genuine commercial insight and analytical support. You will have great exposure to the business; working closely with category managers, aiding them in making sound conclusions following your analysis. Once in the Commercial Finance Analyst post you will provide in depth financial and commercial insight to key stakeholders within the business and to ensure that they maximise the performance and drive initiatives for profitable growth. Develop strong relationships with the Category Managers and Buyers to deliver projects that align to their priorities and category plans. Deliver high quality, actionable insight to the Category teams enabling them to make better trading decisions including supporting the Category Managers with the quarterly buying strategies. Support retail stores to drive sales and margin at a local level providing analytics and MI to help stores drive profitability. The commercial finance analyst will act as an integral part of the senior management team who will seek opportunities to add commercial insight and value through improved awareness on sales channel profitability, pricing, marketing ROI and new propositions. The successful applicant will ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA working towards or recently qualified coming from a similar finance analyst role in retail, dealt with merchandising, marketing and buying teams. You will also be able to demonstrate commercial awareness to enable a focus on both revenue and margins to really drive commercial benefit and add value to the financials.
