Head of Finance and Resources South West London Upto £65,000 per annum Puro Accountancy has a rare opportunity for a skilled and ambitious Head of Finance and Resources. My client is a well established and growing provider of Housing across South West London. The Head of Finance and Resources will manage a small team of staff ensuring that a smooth and efficient Finance, HR, and Governance and Compliance function is delivered. You will work closely with the Executive Director and will be a key part of the organisation. Within the role of head of Finance and Resources you will ensure financial objectives are met. You'll develop, implement and strengthen policies and processes within the team. Manage the timely delivery of the management and statutory accounts. Manage the budgeting process, presenting this to the Senior Management Team. Coordinate the timely implementation of all financial audit action points. Provide financial advice to the Leadership Team. Managing and Developing Team members. Setting and managing budgets. Knowledge, Skills and Experience of the Head of Finance and Resources:- CCAB Fully Qualified Accountant or QBE A minimum of five years post qualification experience of financial management. At least three years' experience of successful leadership and management of a high performing team. At least two years' experience of preparation of final accounts including compilation of appropriate working papers and dealing with external auditors. At least two years' experience of computerised financial systems and financial modelling using advanced spreadsheet techniques or similar systems. Desirable - Experience of working within Social Housing or Charity sectors. Evidence of continuous professional development and up to date knowledge of all relevant financial reporting standards.
